Artist Statement: "I love the way an ordinary landscape or simple leaf can be transformed through atmospheric lighting effects."

Deciding to take a leap of faith, I left the security (and stress) of my "9 to 5" to pursue my art.  In choosing this path, I slowly began to awaken... a simple leaf falling at my feet or a farmer's field suddenly began to captivate me. 

I couldn't remember how long it had been since everything looked so beautiful!  My ability to see the pure beauty of nature is certainly a blessing. 

Using acrylic/mixed media, my paintings depict landscape and still life. I hope my paintings will cause you to take a close look at the simple beauty that is all around us.
